As i’ve started working on using the latest Java EE 6 specification, my thoughts turn to a tool that will offer me a platform for development. I’ve looked at several platforms such as IBM Websphere Application Server Community Edition, but this is based on the apache geronimo open source toolkit. So i’ve looked in other directions and for me, the glassfish project offers a firm foundation to develop and deploy my ejb and both static and dynamic web page content.
Look at the bottom of this post for a set of references i’ve come across while learning glassfish. Since i’m using groovy and grails for application development, some references for grails are available below.
